Paying a visit to The Netherlands without experiencing its lively capital would be like singing the ESTIEM-song without making the movements…. incomplete! That’s why straight after the official part of the Council Meeting, Saturday the 21^st and Sunday the 22^nd, we’ll pay a visit to the city well-known around the globe for its historic architecture, canals, museums, and not to forget the infamous coffeeshops and red light district: the Post-CM in Amsterdam!

Having enjoyed some well-deserved sleep after Friday night’s gala dinner, we will make a 90 minute train ride from Eindhoven to Amsterdam in the beginning of the afternoon. The rest of the day will consist of:

• an exciting city tour by an Amsterdam specialist
• dinner and drinks
• a boat party on the Amstel river
  
• pubbing & clubbing

After an overnight stay at a pleasant hostel, we’ll enjoy breakfast and see some more of the fascinating sights the city has to offer. Of course there will be time for the necessary souvenir shopping and you can visit a museum of your choice. Depending on the participants’ departure times, the event will have its official ending late in the afternoon or evening in one of the many cozy bars and café’s.

The participation fee will amount to €50,-

Unfortunately, the registration period is over and it is no longer possible to register for this event. However, you can always book hostel accomodation by yourself in case you're a late decider and still feel like paying a visit to Amsterdam after the CM.
