Interactie is the student association for international activities in the Industrial Engineering and Management field (IEM for short)and a subsidiary of Industria. Interactie was founded in 1996 with the goal to give students the opportunity to get in contact with the international aspects of IEM. The aims of our association are to get in touch with other foreign cultures and to learn more about the world in which we live, to make new friends and to have a great time along the way! As one of the Local Groups of ESTIEM Interactie members have been travelling around Europe for the last ten years.

Interactie organises both local as international activities. Local activities contains a drink every five weeks, three ‘Interactie-days’ for active members, an international debate and the introduction week for the exchange students who come to study in Eindhoven.

The ESTIEM network offers a large amount of international activities. All Interactie-members can participate in the annual Case Competition, a cycle of conferences throughout Europe and one of the exchanges with other Local Groups.

If you are looking for a more international career, the ESTIEM network offers a number of opportunities, like an European magazine.

As an active member of Interactie you will get the chance to learn about other cultures, enrich your studies in a different environment and above all you will create a network of European friends. You can reach this by participating in trips or by organising one of the events yourself with a team of students.
