Since a few years I am an active ESTIEM’er and for one year even a board member of Local Group Eindhoven called Interactie. During my board year I got the change to visit two Council Meetings. When I was at CM K2K I knew for sure that I also wanted to organise a CM in Eindhoven. After me and my team convinced the rest of our local group and a successful application in Porto we started! I've been an active ESTIEM'er eversince I first visited a Council Meeting, back in Autumn 2003. From that time on I've visited six Council Meetings.
Organising a Council Meeting in Eindhoven is something that seemed like a very cool idea to me eversince I first joined ESTIEM. So when the possibility arose, it didn't take long for me to agree to become a member of the organising team.
My main responsibility within the CM team is promotion. That makes me (amongst other things) repsonsible for the look and feel of our website. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions don't hesitate to send me an e-mail.

Having enjoyed five unforgettable ESTIEM Council Meetings and having enxperienced so many inspiring moments at many other ESTIEM events, being part of the organising team of Council Meeting Eindhoven feels like the very least one can do to contribute to this amazing organisation. My main responsibility during the event will concern the activities taking place outside the working hours. And I can assure you: we'll do everything possible to make you enjoy your 'free time' and perform at your best when work needs to be done! Selinde van Raalte

As I became a board member of Interactie, Local Group Eindhoven, during the same time we were applying for hosting Spring Council Meeting 2007; it was not an option for me not to get involved in this event. Although I had never experienced a Council Meeting before, the enthusiasm of a bunch of our members and the thought of organising one of the main ESTIEM events for 200 students from a very varied background easily convinced me to take part in the CM-team.

In the team it is my responsibility of providing your primary needs of meals and beverages. I am aware of the fact that we, in Holland, have different eating habits than most other European countries, but I will do my very best to fulfil all your ‘food and drink’ needs, so, you can enjoy the rest of the week even more.

Rutger Olthof

My name is Rutger Olthof and my first ESTIEM event was in March 2006 when I visited a CoM in Hamburg. My first Council Meeting was the spring 2006 CM, which was held in Porto. After this great experience I decided to help with the organization of Spring 2007 CM. Due to a lack of places I was unable to visit the CM in Ankara, but I hear a lot of fantastic stories.
Besides being a member of the Council Meeting team I’m also a board member of our Local Group. Within my local group I’m responsible for external affairs.

Bas van Geffen

After studying IEM for four years I decided it was time to become a bit more active next to my study. Organizing the ESTIEM Council Meeting in Eindhoven seamed like a good opportunity for this. For this CM I am in charge of finance. With the help of the other members from our team, I will make sure you have a very good time in Eindhoven!

Being a fresh ESTIEM member, my first CM experience was Ankara last autumn. Organizing an event like this is a great way to contribute to the ESTIEM spirit and the whole organizing team is very commited to making this event an unforgettable experience for all participants. I will make sure everyone is in the right place at the right time, as i'm in charge of logistics. We are looking forward to a great week in April! Ida Sanders

After joining two exchanges of LG Eindhoven with other local groups, I became part of the board of LG Eindhoven and got the task of Local Responsible. Since then I visited some more ‘real’ ESTIEM events and I think I may be called an experienced ESTIEMer by now. As I joined the core-team of the CM organization half a year after the start of the project I am responsible for all the small things the others are too busy for. As a real addict to a good cup of coffee I will take care of the coffee breaks during the CM. Besides that I am responsible for finding enough people to support our organization during the week. I am looking forward to welcome so many ESTIEMers in Eindhoven, but I hope to meet some of you even sooner! If you meet me during the CM; mind your behavior, because my pictures of CM Ankara caused some serious gossip!
